Born in 1999 in Basel, Switzerland, and based in Berlin for the past four years, my path into photography developed through a background in film lighting and visual storytelling. Working in lighting for film gave me a deep understanding of atmosphere, movement, and the emotional language of light. Later, working as a video journalist in news strengthened my technical experience behind the camera and taught me how to observe moments instinctively and narratively.
Being surrounded by visual culture from an early age, through frequent visits to museums as a child, shaped the way I perceive images today. Art became an important influence on how I understand composition, color, emotion, and storytelling.
After years of supporting visual productions through lighting and camera work, I felt a growing need to move beyond assisting other people’s visions and begin creating my own. Photography became the medium through which I could combine all these experiences into a personal artistic language.
My work is strongly focused on movement, atmosphere, and color. I am interested in capturing moments that feel alive and emotionally charged — images that exist between documentation and cinematic storytelling. Fashion, performance, and human presence particularly fascinate me because of their relationship between body, motion, texture, and light.
Photography has fascinated me since childhood, but over time it became more than fascination: it became my full creative focus and my way of expressing myself as an artist.
